We love unusual IDEAS: actively enhancing forests ecologically<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

INBRIGHT Nature is an association that acquires forest land with the aim of enhancing its ecological value. We are currently managing two projects: a 20,000 m\u00b2 forest plot near Kremmen, close to Berlin, and another covering 13,000 m\u00b2 near Buschow.<\/p>

At first glance, the pine forest that has grown here appears to be pure nature. But sometimes you can’t see the forest for the trees: the biodiversity and resilience of a monoculture forest are very limited.<\/p>

That is why we are planning to develop both sites into more species-rich mixed forests that are better able to cope with climate change and enable greater biological diversity. Through our commitment, we want to better understand our forests and the challenges of climate change and actively contribute to ecological improvement.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

We plan to regularly plant trees with the entire INBRIGHT team and interested external partners under professional guidance and to take action ourselves on site. The association’s work is carried out on a voluntary basis. INBRIGHT Nature will therefore operate as a non-profit association.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The association and its “environmental projects” are financed through membership fees and donations. In addition, each of the INBRIGHT project developments will also make a proportional contribution based on a fixed formula (euros\/m\u00b2 of developed rental space).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

INBRIGHT Nature e.V. is not only our response to record heat, drought, and species extinction. The wood we harvest in the course of mixing the forest is also used directly in our construction projects in Berlin. This binds CO\u2082in the long term.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t
